On August 15, Tropical Depression #2 for the 2009 hurricane season strengthened into the first tropical storm of the season - Ana. Ana was a very tiny storm and was expected to impact the Windward Islands on August 16, but due to dry air wrapping into the circulation, Ana weakened to a tropical depression.
